您對AGI的理解有誤

AGI可以用來計算deduction，但不可以再倒過來。在您的例子中，您的$5，000律師費中有$4，200是可以減稅的（如果您在1040 Schedule A的總額超過standard deduction的話）。AGI從此以後跟Deduction就沒關係了。具體請參見1040 Instructions中關於AGI的解釋。
