My I-140 approved within 3-4 days.

08/2000-07/2004 F1
08/2004- Present: Assistant Professor.

EB1b I-140 filed 02/2007. Approved within 3-4 days.
I-485 filed 3/16/2007. AP already recieved.

No supporting letters. Just one 1-page cover letter signed by Chair.
Did it myself. I-140 signed by Chair.

PERM labor certification filed: 03/28/2005 (the first day of PERM program).The system had a lot of bugs. Refiled without changes to the form July 1, 2, 3, and 8 .The last application (07/08/2005) not certified until 02/2006 due to PERM system error. I-140 EB2 based on PERM filed 02/2006, appoved within 15 days. Did it my self. However, duo to ing visa retrogression, I hadn't been able to file I-485.

I am with a small tier 3 university. No international office. No university-level officers are willing to sponsor me. And the university Genral Counsil ( a fat ugly single lady) tried her best to hold my green card application. She was jealous when she saw my beautiful wife and lovely kids. But my chair is good.

My suggestion:

Do not hire a lawyer. They tend to make things complicated.
