I had similar experience. I contacted Congressman, Senator, First Lady, don't know which one really made difference or just it's my turn to have name check cleared.

My name check was cleared on Jan 18, but still waiting so far. USCIS won't allow anyone to issue a ticket within 6 months after name check completion. Please share with us if you hear something different.

By the way, I filed I-485 in May, 2004, so almost three years have been passed :(
