For Xiaobaitu, Martin, or other experit: disadvantages for my LD

My wife filed I-485 and I-765 early March 2007, as my dependent in green card
application. I am H-1B and have ted the same applications at the same
time. I also love my current position, and wouldn't move in the near future, or at least after getting green card.

Currently my wife is on H-4 (she used to hold a quota-constrained H-1B). It
is expected that her EAD card will be available in about two months. So when
my wife found another job, should she use EAD, or apply for another H-1B?

Applying for another H-1B shouldn't be a big trouble, since she already has
the quota. On the other hand, using EAD should be simple and easy. But I
heard once she use EAD, she can't transfer to H-1B in US; she has to go
abroad to get H-1B under that scenario.

Would anyone please help me analyze the pros and cons for my wife using EAD?
