There is no single word in the law states that you have to stay with your employer for 6 MONTHS after you get green card.
Immigration lawyers often recommend people to not transfer jobs soon after getting GC is just to show the applicants' original honesty of their pursuit in permanent employment with their employer. But how long time is enough to show your loyalty? Is it not a firm date!
Remember: a permanent resident has the right to work for any legal employer in this country. This is your lawful right. And there is no 6 month probation rule!
As for 485 pending case, that is totally different story, read AC21 if you want dig in!
I think people on this forum sometimes fuss too much!
