USCIS asking about evidences about my legal name change since my Canadian Passport had "Joe" attached to my Chinese name, but I never legally change my name. Joe is just my nick name and I don't know why Canadian passport office allowed Joe to my Chinese name without asking anything. Anyway, here is the wording from RFE: " documentary evidence of legal name change from XXXXX Zheng to XXXXX Joe Zheng. You may a marriage certificate or any other official civil document, such as a court decree, that substantialtes the name change."
Do you think the Passport or driving license can be used as a "official civil document"? Any suggestion?
Thx
