Need Xiaobaitu and your help on how to define the application

Hi XiaoBaitu and other gurus,

When filing I-485 for my wife as my dependent, I have a question on "Have you ever before applied for PR in US"

Her I-140 got approved and is not able to file I-485 because her PD is not current.

According to my understand, she should fill to apply for PR before. But her company attonery does not want to give her approved 140 notice because that is belonged to her employer.
We try to get the copy of this approved notice to support her I-485 application as my dependent. But her company attonery said she should fill "Not apply for PR before".

Please advise for this. Thank you very much in advance.
