I think that you are right when u say that we should use the effective date of the new EAD. I agreed with you on that. Wha I am trying to say is, if you renew your EAD, the effective date of the renewed one is going to be a continuation of your old EAD's expiration date, if you renew that in a timely manner. Recently I got both mine and my hu*****and's EAD renewed and that is what happened.
