Xiaobaitu: can our 485 be transfered to link with my husband's I

I am going to file EB1b (140, 485 both for myself) soon. My attroney suggested me to my hu*****and's 485 together. My hu*****and's I-140 has been approved but he is waitting for priority date, so we couldn't file 485. My question is: if my EB1b is denied, can we request USICS to link our 485 to my hu*****and's I-140 that has been approved. Thank you very much!
