1. employer-sponsored. Was useful when three years ago EB2/EB3 still needed to wait for quota, but no difference to EB3 now because every EB categories has current availability from 2002 to 2004 and to forseeable future.
2. NIW, allowed for self-sponsorship. You can file it on your own, with or without the support of your employer, or no employer at all.
