We got a letter from DOL and stated that my salary is below the prevailing wage. Our employer agreed to increase my wage to the required level. My employer also offered to write the rebuttal letter. but my lawyer said that he should do it and he wants to charge us additional $800 to the previously agreed fixed amount ($4500). I disagreed and he said that he won't do the rebuttal for us any more. If my employer does it, is there anything that we need to be aware of? also, how do you prevent the DOL send the certified labor certificate to the lawyer?
