Not quite agree that USCIS move faster than b4.

I think it's because you file I485 before retrogression, and your name check and all other issues have been solved long time ago and the USCIS just wait for your PD become current to they can issue you the card.

For those who are waiting for file I-485 after PD is current, which are to most people now, they still need to go through the name check, medical examination and all other steps. If they can get the card approved with in one year, it will be wonderful!
