help, F-1 o F-2

急！F-1轉校，由於i-20下來晚，錯過注冊的deadline，之後遞交了轉F-2申請，這段時間算不算out of status? 上星期收到USCIS的信，要求補一封信，a letter from the student advisor setting forth the attendace date. 我這種情況會不會有問題呢？怎麽應對？
