About the Processing Date and I-485 Case Complete Date

A quite while ago, I read someone's (a lawyer?) post on this forum, it said the date under the Now Processing Case with Receipt Notice Date cloumn is actually the completion date of your case. For example, the Processing Date posted for 485 at the Nebraska Center on December 18 was May 6, does this mean I-485 appliactions with receipt notice date before May 6 have been processed? Is it true? or it's just the beginning of the case processing? Can someone share your experience? My receipt notice date falls in the newly updated receipt date and I am so anxious to know.
