暫時綠卡離境有答案了!

今天在老公的陪同下去見了移民官. 問我是不是已經破壞了我的居住連續性. 移民官看了我的綠卡, 然後哈哈大笑. 說我們完全不用擔心. 隻要我離離境不連續超過1年. 就算朝過了, 隻要你有強硬的證據證明你的婚姻有效性也是不會有任何問題的. 我說我懷孕了, 他馬上說, there you go~~

我問我可不可以再去中國旅20天, 他說, have fun, enjoy your trip~

好高興啊! 今天晚上就定機票.

看來有些文件也不是一定要照本宣科的. 真是一場虛驚.

今天和朋友聊天，說道暫時綠卡離境的問題。 我一直想當然的以為隻要每年不離境超過半年就萬事大吉。 今天一查移民局資料才發現， 必須

reside continuously in the united states, that is, since becoming a temporary resident alien no single absence from the united states exceeded 30 days, or the total of all absences has not exceeded 90 days.

If you are absent from US ....., you will break the continuity of your residence unless you can establish to the satisfaction of USCIS that you did not, in fact abandon your residence in the US during that period.

我去年夏天趕老爸60歲生日， 7月中旬回國。 然後等老公9月中旬拿到假期到中國旅遊，才一起回家。 前後一共離境75天左右。我是不是已經break the coninuity of my residence? 這都有什麽後果呢？我該做什麽來補救呢？什麽才算是establish to the satisfaction of USCIS that i did not abandon my residence?

很氣自己這麽粗心大意！

我這個月又要到中國10天。 本來今天晚上要買機票的。 是不是最好取消這次行程？
