回複：再談 FP code 與485

Just from my personal experience, I don't believe that FP code has anything to do with NC. I ted my I-485 on Sep, 2005 and got a FP request (code3) on October. The time that I got this is pretty much the same time as I got my RFE for I-140. So I don't think that NC was cleared at that time. I did the FP on Nov, as requested. Later I checked my status by calling INS and was told that my NC is pending.
This Decemeber, I got another FP, code 3 again. I called INS and was told that my NC was clear. The reason to do FP is my previous one is expiring.
also from the background information I have been reading, I feel that FP and NC is totally two different issues. FP is for criminal record check and NC is for background check.
