They made a mistake on my I94 before, and I went to local office and had it changed on the same day. The officer was very nice and updated the info in their computer system.

And the whole process was less than 10 minutes and it was free. That's exactly my point. Don't send to service center, go to local office and let them correct the mistake. Be sure to bring everything you think is related with you. Good luck.
