You call the IRS. If they are not very busy now, they can fax your 3 year tax return to you immediately with no charge. However, that fax is in IRS format, it is not the original 1040 you filed. If you want to get the original 1040 you files, you have to send them a letter and pay the money, IRS can find your original ones and mail you a copy, but it will take some time.
