Where did you get the detail?

From the embassy I didn't get anything except the fax number. They said I can fax to inquire the status, but they also said they won't give me the exact time because no one knows how long it's going to take. Do you think it's helpful to get the senator or someone to contact the embassy? Thanks for sharing your experience. This whole check thing sucks.
