Green Card Holder Marriage - Please help

I am a green card holder. I am trying to marriage a women who is not a greencard holder. She can come to US by herself without a VISA, since she is a Singapore citizen. Is there a way that I can let her stay in US and get some kind of working permit during the time to wait for the VISA number?
