is E-Filing faster than paper filing for EAD

I have paper-filed EAD application for 3 months, fingerprinted, still not approved. The case was originally filed to TSC but the receipt from MSC (?) and this is employment-based case (not marriage based). Anybody has idea for it? Thanks.
