Xiaobaitu, or other expert,
If a main aplicatant don't want stay here any more or he have to go back to China after he applied I-485 for his family, but his son already in a university with a H4 status, How can his son keep a legal status to continue stay here to finish his study?
I think this is a common problem for those old postdoc. they usually have teenage kids who is going college or who is already in college. their family are waitng for Green card after I-140 approved. Now the name check took long time, If the main applicant lost his job he have to go back to china, how does his son do to keep his status in this time?
As you said, the son cannot apply F visa after he applied I-485. If his dad lost job go back to china his son will lost his H4.
please give answer to those old postdoc.
thank you!!!!!!
