NIW的推薦信can beused to 申請EB-A. As far as I am concerned, it has no problem. But remember the petition letter format for EB1-a is different from NIW.

In Eb1-a, you need to focus on the demonstration you are recognized as an expert nationaly and internationally in the field of your effort
