Same shit everywhere. The company hired lawyer or in most cases, the lawyers' assistants, are responsible to the company HR, not you. I have experienced the same, it is the company's policy not to allow us to hire (even pay) lawyer, but the company hired lawyer (Fragomon, sob, and etc.) are so slow that you want whip their asses if you can. I prepared all 485 required documents within 2 days and fedexed to her, but it took her two months to file it.

What can you do, you don't pay her, the company does. Contact your company' HR (they may represent opporsite interest if you know what I mean--- the slower the better, the longer you are chained and work harder) may help.
