No security check at all. Just a couple quick and "stupid" questions at interview, such as "have you ever switched employer", "would this be your first H-1B visa", etc.

My impression is as long as you have all the rquired documentation ready, they will not give much trouble. I feel they are quite reasonable and fair to review each one's cases based on the regulation. Besides, the good thing is that unlike F-1, they can not reject H-1B with the simple reasoning of "immigration tendancy". So don't worry.
