Emergency!! EAD question. Xiaobaitu, radiology and others

I concurrently filed my 140/485/EAD in Nov. I probably lost job by the end of Dec. Since I have filed EAD, can I leaglly stay in US and wait my H1B trasfer? Do I have to get receipt before the expiratin of my H1B? How long does it take to get the receipt?

Worrying!!!
