K1 is a visa for people who intend to get married in the U.S. while this person is in other nations.

Once you have the K1 visa, you need to get married within 90 days or so.

Since you are here already, K1 does not fit you.

The solution: get married & apply 130 & 485 concurrently and apply EAD at the same time, so you can work after you receive the EAD.
