H1B（EB3）被公司LAYOFF，I485 PENDING超過兩年，該怎麽辦？

我被公司LAYOFF(I485　PENDING超過兩年)，H1B是不占名額的，因為是非盈利機構，聽說不可以轉H1B（因為不占名額），我申請了EAD，但至少下個月才下來。我的舊公司承諾不象移民局報告什麽。
請問我現在該怎麽辦，是不是隻能等EAD才能工作，綠卡會不會因此受影響呢。請幫我看看，十分感謝。_(^) _(^) _(^)
