Now that you live in USA, your tie with Canada? You are only a PR... I am imaging that...If I were VO, I would consider if I should issue H-1B to you, or I might ask you go to your home country to apply your visa...
I know many people working in US (Detroit, MI ), but live in Canada(Windsor, Ontario). Try to arrange if you could... after you get your visa, you can live anywhere you like. Good lucky!
