Last week, my wife and I had our interview because we lived at different addresses. At the end of the interview, the officer said she could not stamp my passport because my check was not cleared even though my fingerprinting and name check had been cleared. The final step of check would be done by their local office. We are wondering if other friends have been through the similar situation and what the final check is meaning. Also, there have been no change in our online status since the interview. Does it mean that local office will not update our status online or will they still send out welcome email once the case is approved?
Many many thanks!
