Thank you for your answers. My question is not about A# - I don't think the number on I-94 is the A# (although it happens to start with a letter A). People only get A#s when they apply for GC.
My question is about the I-94 number. If you have entered US multiple times on non-immigrant visa, you are always given the same I-94 number (even with a different I-94 card).
But I am not sure if you enter as a parolee (by using AP), which I-94 number will you be given at entrance? The same old I-94 number you had with your F1/H1 status, or a new one?
If people have experience on this, I'd appreciate your answers. Thanks!
