so some guys made the mistakes. For all Chinese J-1 holders, no matter where you get the J-1, they are subjected to 2 year home county residence regulation.

My suggestion is not to take the risk to confuse the Immigration. They made the mistakes but it is you who must be responsible for your case. This is why you need a lawyer.

Apply J-1 now, you can do it by yourself.

If your company does need you to start work now, do it without pay till Oct.
