小白兔,mytwocents DA XIA, some more questions,please help.

I am currently on H1 visa, have filed I-485 (marriage based) and got the receipt from USCIS. Just received the letter to have interview with the officer in the mid December.

I am thinking to go back to China for one or two months after I have the interview with USCIS and receive the AP and EAD.

. My current job doesn't allow me to go back for so long, so I am thinking to quit the job. If I do as such, I will lose my H1 visa, and be on AOS status, right? My questions are as the following:

1.If under AOS, after receiving my AP and before receiving the conditional gC, can I go back to China for 1 or 2 months and come back safe without any trouble?

2. Will my going back to China make my Name Check process longer, or, will this prolong or hinder my application for green card?

3. After the interview in mid December, normally, what other processs ahead required by USCIS before I receive the conditional GC?
