Xiaobaitu and other experts: Urgent help

My wife is a F-1 now.She got a job but no sponsorship for her H1. I have filed EB2 and I-485. so far, My NIW was approved, but 485 is pending (Now I'm still F-1).
If she use EAD to work, but my 485 was denied in the worst case, Can she change back to F-2?
Once she used her EAD, will it have the same consequence as using AP or not?
how should she do to avoid out of status?
