If you pay canadian dollars, you need to pay more than 550. The canadian government cannot be that stupid. You can visit the immigration website to see how much you need to pay in canadian dollars.

At this stage, you don't have to get a police clearance from FBI. You will be asked to do so during the process. Again, everything can be found from the
official website.

You need to do a little bit homework on immigration.
