My lawyer put below statement in the letter for my H-1B application -
"We propose to employ xxx for a temporary period of three years in the specialty occupation of xxx..."
If "xxx were to be dismissed by (my employer's name) prior to the expiration of H-1B status, we would compensate xxx for the return trip to xxx's home country". I believe it was just the routine statement, not a legal bondage, just show the employer's willingness to offer the alien worker a job. My company had no question about this statement. Ask you lawyer to explain details with the HR person at your employer, they should be ok.
