USPS會這末笨嗎？

通過USPS express 寄了一個急件到Texas 中心。郵件目前的狀態是：第一次投遞無人接，留下了notice。正準備第二次投遞，如果第二次投遞仍然不成功，會hold五天，之後會送回給自己。這樣豈不是誤事嗎？請問各位有沒有類似的經驗？

We attempted to deliver your item at 11:37 am on October 27, 2006 in MESQUITE, TX 75185 and a notice was left. A second delivery attempt will be made. If unsuccessful, we will hold it for five business days and then it will be returned to the sender. Information, if available, is updated every evening. Please check again later.
