關於I-94延期的問題

有幾個關於I-94的問題。
目前處於H-4身份，老公的H1B後年才過期,H4也一樣。但是，護照明年就過期（目前正在申請延期護照），入境的時候，海關給的I-94的過期日和護照一樣，也就是I-94會比 H4早過期。

問了周圍幾個朋友，大都I-94和H4 一樣，即使護照要早過期。
請問我的這種情況常見麽？在延完護照後，需要額外申請I-94延期致H4 expire date 麽？如果要，會不會影響LPR的申請阿？因為現在正等著priority date .
