am going to graduate in two years. my goal is clear, that is to find a
university and teach. I noticed universities are not concerned much about
foreign scholars' legal status, because there is dept,. which takes care of
thisfor them
my question is: should I go ahead applying for a green card based on my
marriage to my hu*****and( citizen) ? or should I just wait for university
which is going to be my employer to take care of this? the latter is free , right?
I understand industry jobs are different, smaller companies prefer to hire american , all things being equal. but If I am going to university being faculty, there is no preference for me if I have a greencard, RIGHT?
please give me suggestions , especially those who are on faculty somewhere.
