求教各位高手: I485 pending 轉換工作

My current status:

postdoc with a H1b at a University,
approved I140NIW in biomedical sciences.
I485 pending due to PD.

About to get an offer from a company.One problem is that the company is not in biomedical science field although the position requires my skills in such a field. I'd like to know that the job category requirement (i.e. "Same or similiar") applies to the job content or the nature of the company.

The other thing is that I have to use my EAD to start it. So my question is:
can my company sponsor me H1b when it is available in April, 2007? Or am I not eligible for H1b once I use my EAD?
