Change Job while I-485 pending

H1b at University, I140NIW approved and I485 pending due to PD.
About to get an offer from a company. I have to use my EAD to start it but my question is: can my company sponsor me H1b when it is available in April, 2007? Or I am not eligible for H1b once I use my EAD. Thanks for your advice.
