Xiaobaitu -- Please help

I am under the 485 pending, and I used my EAD early this year, then I quited my job. Now, my EAD will be expired in the few days, please advice what should I do if I want to keep the status for working. Should I apply a new EAD or renew it? What the difference of these them? Thank you very much!
