搬到別的州，必須改地址嗎？Need Help!!!

I had my I485 ted after the approval of I140. Then I moved to New Jersey from Texas. Some friends suggested me to change the address to friend's address which is in Texas so my case won't be moved to local office since lots of cases got lost during the transfer.
It have been 15 months. I haven't received the second finger print notice. It is better to notice the USCIS the new address and request the case transfer?
What should I do?
Any help is greatly appreciated!!!
