Help in J1 change to H1B

Please give me some advice on this issue, right now, I have applied J1 waiver, now the university can not sponsor H1b for me but my boss said he want me to continue work here more one year, then, he will try to help me to get a tenure track position. He does required the University sponsor H1b for me but he can not get it. Now, if there is any method to continue work here and keep the waiver does work in the future. The favorable letter be sent to Texas service center and I got receipt, it is still pending. Help!!!
