so how did you deal with it?

I talked with company, it agreed to report to USCIS next friday, and I will be paid until friday.
however, an attorney said it won't help, my last day still this friday and I need to file the application before this friday.

what can I do? besides trying to get a job asap..

any information will be highly appreciated.
