Don't worry. I did the same thing as yours. I got the receipt about two weeks after I sent out my application by Fedex. I got the approval notice about three weeks. Most H-1B transfer petitions were transferred to California Services Center from Vermont Service Center and that is why we took so long time to get the receipt or approval notice.
