Need urgent Help: About I-140 Premium Processing

I have a pending I-140 (RD 5/3/2006 PERM EB2 NSC), my attorney told me he is going to upgrade my pending 140 to Premium Processing. Does any expert know that how to upgrade it? Does it mean I need to refile my I-140 from the scratch or anything else just mailing additional $1K fee to keep the original RD 5/3/2006?
Please help me to analyze the senario and make decision.
