Question: Is this a tough question or a routine question? Besides additional reference letter, related publication which is ted before the filing date, more citations of previous publication after the filing date. What else would be helpful in this case? Thanks.

Answer: From my experience, this is a typical RFE from NSC (many people got the same RFE). However, this is also a difficult part to prove. You need to show more objective (documentary) evidences to support your influence on the whole research field and the impact on other researchers. Besides recom letters, papers and citations, there are other evidences you need to prepare.
