485 RFE-marriage certificate 問題

收到的RFE 有一項是:
" the marriage certificate for the marriage of you and your spouse, an appriopriate civil authority should issue a marriage certificate.in order for the marriage to be considered valid for immigration purposes, it must have been registered with a civil autority from the location where the marriage
took place.
The document must contain the seal of the issuring office including the date of registration and signature of the registrar."

我們以前遞了結婚公證書的中英文複印件,但沒有遞結婚證的複印件(公證書上也沒有結婚證的複印件),這RFE是不是要求結婚證的copy? 中文的結婚證他們又看不懂? 請問誰有過這方麵的經曆? 多謝了
