You are right. After 4 or 5 LUDs, they should have already approved the cases. It should not take long to approve one, correct?
The silent time afterwards might be to transfer/request to other offices or contractors to caculate numbers, get state dept visa numbers, sending out approval hard copies and the actual cards.
